Promotion Criteria for Grades 3, 5, and 8

Grade	Effective Year	Criteria
3	2003-2004	Students must pass the CRCT in reading and meet other state and local promotion standards and criteria as may be developed to be promoted to 4th grade.
5	2004-2005	Students must achieve grade level on the CRCT in both reading and mathematics and meet other state and local promotion standards and criteria as may be developed to be promoted.
8	2005-2006	Students must achieve grade level on the CRCT in both reading and mathematics and meet other state and local promotion standards and criteria as may be developed to be promoted.
