The Records Department has purchased two document imaging systems which allow documents to be scanned, displayed and e-mailed to users within moments.  Thousands of documents can be stored on an optical disk that will simplify document storage and image access.  Additionally, use of the system will improve service to graduates, citizens and a variety of agencies as the ever increasing demand for records continues.  Records management promotes good government by making it easy for program administrators to locate and use information needed to monitor programs, insure administrative continuity, and help them make informed policy decisions.  It preserves and protects records needed by all citizens as required by law and records management serves the cause of history.

The Records Department stores and archives many types of records associated with education.
